Ana and Julio attended to the Multivariate Exploratory Data Analysis (MEDA): Understanding by looking at data course, organized by the Escuela Internacional de Posgrado of the UGR. In this course, they learned about machine learning techniques that are useful to deal with multivariate data, such as the principal componente analysis (PCA) or the partial least square regression (PLS). This information shall be very helpful for their work, given the high spectral resolution of WEAVES and the great number of phometric filters of J-PAS.
