Formation and evolution of the stellar content of galaxies in the J-PAS area

The "Galaxy memoirs” meeting was held from August 10th to August 15th in Armação dos Búzios (Brasil) with the goal of bringing together experts in the fields of 

Title: Formation and evolution of the stellar content of galaxies in the J-PAS area
 
Abstract: During this talk, Luis briefly introduced part of him methodologies, as well as the first results and accuracy of the stellar population properties (age, metallicity, extinction, stellar mass, etc.) of the nearby galaxies from J-PAS. Moreover, Luis presented part of the current status and potential of J-PAS to perform spatially-resolved  studies of the stellar content of nearby galaxies with the ultimate goal of inferring the past of J-PAS galaxies from their present.
