Participation at the XVI SEA Meeting

Durante the XVI Reunion Científica de la Sociedad Española de Astronomía (SEA) celebrada en Granada (Spain) desde el 15 hasta el 19 de Julio de 2024, Luis presentó una contribución oral de los trabajos del grupo dentro de la colaboración de J-PAS y algunas predicciones para el futuro de los estudios de poblaciones estelares de este survey.

Title:Formation and evolution of the stellar content of galaxies in the J-PAS

Abstract: Con la inminente liberación del primer catálogo de datos de J-PAS (IDR), Luis presentó todo el trabajo realizado por nuestro grupo de poblaciones estelares del IAA para la colaboración de J-PAS. Se hizo un resumen de las metodologías desarrolladas durante los últimos años para diversos objetivos científicos (códigos de SED-fitting, ANN para detección de líneas de emisión, Py2DJPAS, determinación de las funciones de masa y luminosidad, etc.), así como un resumen de los primeros resultados científicos de miniJPAS (poblaciones estelares en campo y grupos, papel del entorno, líneas de emisión, evolución de la densidad de masa con redshift, etc). Al mismo tiempo se presentaron algunos de los posibles proyectos que podrían realizarse en un futuro con los datos de J-PAS y como podrían cambiar los estudios una vez el cartografiado de J-PAS empiece a escanear una gran parte del cielo.
