Title: Stellar population properties of galaxies in the J-PAS era
Abstract: Luis showed how we have been exploring the potential and capabilities of J-PAS to ultimately study the star formation, stellar evolution and assembly of galaxies in different environments. During this talk, Luis introduced part of the methods that we have developed for our aims, as well as he presented the consistency of our J-PAS results with a precision equivalent to that obtained for spectroscopic surveys of similar signal-to-noise ratio. In this regard, our group will be able to explore the integrated properties of the stellar content of J-PAS-like galaxies since z~1, as well as the variation of the stellar content properties of galaxies as a function of environment and the cluster-centric radius. In light of our results, our group will be also able to constrain the cosmic evolution of the B-band luminosity and stellar mass densities up to z~0.7, since we found similar values and trends than those obtained in similar researches with much deeper observations and/or spectroscopic data.
